This package takes care of all your science department administration needs! As Head of Science, you probably have to keep your pupil data on several spreadsheets, or design your own database. 

Science Monitor stores all your data in one place, and does much more!

Its functions include:

Calculation of a current level or grade from test, Sc1 and exam marks at both KS3 and KS4
Tracking of pupils from KS2 to KS4
Analysis of levels or grades by gender / ethnicity etc.
Prints out record cards for teachers to record test, coursework and exam marks, or teachers can enter marks directly on screen if Science Monitor is on a network
Allows target setting from KS2 to KS3 and KS3 to KS4
Supports Skills Tasks and Skills Assessments in new GCSEs from September 2006
Graphing of pupil current performance vs. past performance based on DfES value-added graphs from the DfES Autumn Package - compare your pupils with other pupils nationally
Completely configurable by the user for own in-house courses at KS3
Create up to 50 User Defined Fields to store any other data about pupils - SEN stages, health codes, CAT scores etc.

The program can reside on a server and be accessed from any computer on a network. Assign a teacher to be an administrator and restrict teachers to inputting marks only using a password system.
Context sensitive help means that step-by-step instructions are just a click away - very quick and easy to learn how to use.
General telephone support available in the evening (6 - 9 p.m.) and all weekend; software support available during normal office hours.
